Construction Pours Begin Tonight

The cranes are onsite at 1801 Congress and the site is ready to receive concrete for the foundation.

This week we are celebrating another construction milestone – the pouring of the foundation of the underground parking garage at 1801 Congress. The concrete pours will happen in stages. The first pour will be early Tuesday morning from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Concrete trucks will enter the construction site from Brazos and 18th Street. The trucks will unload within the construction zone and exit through the Congress Avenue construction driveway onto MLK Blvd.

What to Expect:

There will be delays along Brazos between MLK and 18th Street until 7:00 a.m. As a consideration to area neighbors and businesses the concrete trucks will not use the beeping back up alarms, but they will use “white noise” alarms. Please watch and respect the flagmen’s signals.
