Traffic Pattern Alert – Two way traffic coming soon on 17th and 18th Streets between San Jacinto and Trinity

Happening this week: 17th Street & San Jacinto – On Wednesday, June 26, the City of Austin will change the traffic direction of 17th Street from San Jacinto to Trinity from a one-way street to a two-way street. In preparation for this traffic pattern change, the parking meters on the south curb of 17th Street (adjacent to Scholz Garten) will be bagged. ALERT for Garage R – The Brazos entrance and exit to Garage R will be closed from Saturday, June 22 through July 15 due to utility construction in the street.
