SAFETY ALERT: Drive defensively and slow down on MLK Blvd. Reminders MLK Blvd. and Congress Lane Closures: An eastbound lane of MLK Blvd. from Colorado to Brazos Street (in front of the Bullock and Blanton Museums) will be closed for the duration of the Capitol Complex construction project. Red River Street Realignment

As the construction of the new UT arena continues, so is the realignment of Red River Street. The street will be realigned to create a straight path from 26th Street to East Cesar Chavez, which will ease connectivity and traffic flow through the University and Innovation District just west of IH35 from 19th Street to 12th Street. The estimated completion of this project is now set for Fall 2022.
