LUNA Awards 2019 – For Women in Construction

TFC is proud to participate in THE LUNA AWARDS Austin. These awards celebrate the achievements of women in construction, women-owned businesses and business advocates who demonstrate a vision that encourages, promotes, and develops women at all levels in the construction, architecture and engineering industries.

The Texas Facilities Commission is pleased to announce that three professional women from our team have been nominated for a LUNA Award.

LUNA AWARDS Nominations:

Lifetime Achievement Award: Yolanda Strey, HUB director
Outstanding Professional of the Year: Janie Gribble, AIA, Senior Project Manager
Outstanding executive of the Year: Marti Walsh, Director, Project Management

The Austin Luna Awards and Reception will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 3:30 – 6:00 PM at Austin’s new event center, Trinity Hall, located in the heart of downtown at 311 East 5th St. Austin, TX 78701.

Blanton Museum of Art: “Charles White: Celebrating the Gordon Gift” This exhibition is organized by the Christian-Green Gallery of Black Studies at UT. It will run from August 28 through November 30, 2019. The exhibition features White’s drawings and prints alongside works by those in his circle revealing the impact of White’s artistic output on pop culture and representations of black life.
