Conditioned air from the new Central Utility Plant is now flowing on several levels, and seven elevators have been installed. The curtain wall (exterior skin) has been completed from the ground floor to the roof. The Texas Facilities Commission will be managing the relocation of over 20 State Agencies into this modern complex next summer. SAFETY ALERT Drive defensively and slow down on MLK Blvd. MLK Blvd. and Congress Lane Closures: An east bound lane of MLK Blvd. from Colorado to Brazos Street (in front of the Bullock and Blanton Museums) will be closed for the duration of the Capitol Complex construction project.
