Parking Update April 16, 2019
The west side of Parking Lot 12 (San Jacinto side) will closed this month. Please use parking garages A, B or G instead.
Parking Garages E and J are full. Please Use Garage A, B, or Q instead.
More of Parking Lot 3 has been closed. Fleet vehicles parked on this lot will be moving to other parking locations. The entire lot will be closed on August 1. This will be the site of a new Central Utility Plant and a public park.
Visitors of the William B. Travis and Stephen F. Austin buildings should park at the UT Brazos parking garaged at 210 E. MLK Blvd. or at the Bullock Museum. These are the closest public parking garages in the area.
Visitors to the Capitol or to buildings on the east side of the Capitol Complex, should park at the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage at 1201 San Jacinto Blvd., Austin, TX 78701 or at the Dell Medical Health Center Garage at 1601 Trinity Street Austin, TX 78701.
If you park at a bagged meter, you may be towed!
