Traffic Update September 17, 2020

Street closures: 
  • 18th Street  – The block of 18th Street between San Jacinto and Brazos is closed. To access Garage R or the ERS building use Brazos Street, which is open for thru traffic from MLK Blvd. to 17th Street. (To access the W.B. Travis building, Garage R and the ERS visitor parking lot from San Jacinto, turn right on 17th Street and travel north bound on Brazos Street.)
  • Visitors to Scholz Garten (San Jacinto and 17th Street) – Watch out for construction vehicles exiting the construction zone traveling east on 17th Street.
Repaving Colorado (from MLK Blvd. to 18th Street) – The repaving of Colorado Street between 18th Street and MLK Blvd. has been completed. More repaving is scheduled on Colorado this fall as utility work is completed.

Street Closure – San Jacinto Blvd. between MLK Blvd. and 18th Street will be closed to traffic from Saturday, September 26 at 5:00 a.m.through Sunday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. for construction work on the ERS building project.  (This is not a TFC managed project.)

Lane Closure – The inside east bound lane of MLK Blvd. from Colorado to almost Brazos Street (in front of the Bullock Museum) will be closed for the duration of the Capitol Complex construction project.
