Traffic Pattern Alert – Two way traffic coming soon on 17th and 18th Streets between San Jacinto and Trinity

Happening this week: 17th Street & San Jacinto – On Wednesday, June 26, the City of Austin will change the traffic direction of 17th Street from San Jacinto to Trinity from a one-way street to a two-way street. In preparation for this traffic pattern change, the parking meters on the south curb of 17th Street (adjacent to Scholz Garten) will be bagged. CONSTRUCTION UPDATE MAY 24, 2019

The TRUSS (Temporary / Relocated / Utility /Structural / Support) has been installed across Congress Avenue to serve as a conduit for the chiller water lines, water lines and utilities lines that serve the LBJ, SFA and Travis buildings. This TRUSS and its piping were designed specifically for this project by Cobb-Fendley and its team (Brierley Associates, MWM DesignGroup, and Burns & McDonnell).
